My 7 year old loves to build forts with anything she can find in the house, which can sometimes be a bit precarious. When I saw these kits at my local bookstore I knew in an instant what to get for my girls this birthday. It is a great concept. I bought two sets, one for each of my young daughters so they can play together and make bigger forts. I also took advantage of an internet special and bought two more for our friends who also have two young girls who are also formidable fort builders. I can't wait to see how excited they will be about this - now to find a whole bunch of sheets!
My children - ages 7 and 4, were constantly building tents to sleep in. They would pile high totes of toys, spread blankets from bed to tote, place books, toys anything to weight down the blanket so they could sleep under it. During nights the tent usually fell. I winced when I saw the heavy objects that could fall on them in the night and would end up trying to build something for them that would hold and be safe. This toy is awesome! This toy is something that is most worth owning to me! Sparks imagination with constructing it and play.
EZ-Fort is a great toy for kids - provides hours of entertainment and stores away easily when not in use.
My sister just sent this EZ-fort for my son's 4th birthday. We have been playing with it for an hour and we've made a few different configurations. He is really enjoying it and he can put it together himself as well. We are rough on our toys and the poles look like they have the ability to bennd if played roughly with (made in to swords, stood on, jumped on, etc.)
